It may seam a simple thing to achieve, heck, what could go wrong? Well just to be sure, we are here to help, below we have made a list of how best to package your item for safe and secure delivery ( If the item is not being picked up by FS4 ) and what to include in the packaging, after all we want your item to arrive in the best possible condition as much as you do. Things to think about when packaging your PC or laptop. |
| |
Always use a strong cardboard box. |
| |
When possible please use bubble wrap, this absorbes most impacs whilst in transit. |
| |
Make sure that the box is not too much larger than the PC or laptop and other items to be included, this way there will be as little movement as possible. |

Wrap each item seperately in bubble wrap. |
| |
Use tape (preferably brown packing tape) to secure wrapping. |
| |

The laptop. |
| |
The laptop power unit/supply, encase the battery fails. |
| |
Any recovery discs or software relating to your laptop (if possible). |
| |
A brief description of the fault to the best of your knowledge. |
| |
If we have given you a quote then please print off and include this. |

Your name and the address the laptop is to be returned to. |
| |
Any usernames or passwords for loggin on etc. |
| |

Any PC items you consider damaged i.e. the case, keyboard, mouse and monitor. |

If it is just the PC that is damaged then ONLY include the main tower or case NOT the keyboard, mouse and monitor. |

Any recovery discs or software relating to your PC (if possible). |

A brief description of the fault to the best of your knowledge. |

If we have given you a quote then please print off and include this. |
| |
Your name and the address the laptop is to be returned to. |

Any usernames or passwords for loggin on etc. |

Should you require your damaged PC or Laptop to be picked up by FS4 then all you need do is to make sure the item is un-plugged and ready for transport to be repaired. You DO NOT need to package anything. |

Contact FS4 to arrange a suitable pick up date, click HERE for contact details. |

We will arrive at the agreed time and date, remove your damaged PC or Laptop including any items we may require such as mouse, keyboard, monitor and software. |

We will give you a signed reciept for your items containing all our details. |
| |
Upon completion of any agreed repairs we will return your item where full payment will then be required. |
| |
NO work will be carried out until both parties have agreed on the quoted price. |
| |
If you do not require FS4 to repair your item then we will return it to you at no charge. |
| |
